Sendai- Izumi City

This is a picture of Pastor Larry and his wife Bella. They are missionaries to Japan from Seattle Washington and by way of Hong Kong for Bella. They have two teen age kids a boy and girl who are currently in Hong Kong. We stayed Saturday night at the church they planted in Izumi City. This is a friend of Yuya Sensei And we were invited worship with them after our time in Ishinomaki.


We had a great time in service hearing a message from Pastor Larry and worship praise with Bella. There was a 12 year old boy who comes every Sunday for bible study and service. He was only able to stay for bible study and praise worship, then had to leave early for an appointment. No one else came to church on this day, which happens often in a church plant in a neighborhood setting. We still praised God and had a great time of fellowship after service. Jason shared his testimony while the rest of us shared about our time in Iwaki and Ishinomaki. Bella shared how Jason's testimony calmed her about her own two teens out in Hong Kong, knowing God is always watching out for her kids, as he did Jason while he was out and away from home.

After our time of sharing we all laid hands on Pastor Larry and Bella and prayed for their ministry, their health, the church and for God to send people to learn about Jesus. A great time had by all of us.
